We have a new class called TEAM BUILDING CLASS
It is a class which teaches us about leadership, teamwork, creativity, responsibilities, promise and others.
This class will be handled by Sgt Sin Yee.
We started our first class on today.
For afternoon section, they had learnt about obedience.
Obedience means do what one is told to do
It is a good habit and can train us to be a person of discipline
How do we practise obedience?
- By doing drill
- Listen and follow the instructions given by parents, teachers, officers, ncos, seniors
And for morning section, we had learnt about impossible to possible
Nothing is impossible is you think you can
Why it to be impossible?
- Never give it a try before
- Have no ideas to start a new thing
- Not believing
- I CAN’T do it
- I have no confidence
Why could it be possible?
- Paying 100% commitment
- Dare to risk, to share
- Giving opinions
- Open minded, trusting each others
- Support and listen to others’ opinions
After listening the class, we had a sharing time
We shared our own opinions about our Platoon situation
and discussed together for the solutions
We also played some games during the time
We found that the importance of obedience and everything is possible through the games.
It is a interesting and meaningful class
hope that everyone can remember the things we learnt today,
recall what we did wrongly before and start to change it now.

+ The Great Father +
Take some time to see the following message and click into the website to see the video,
which is very touching.
One day, a son asks his dad "Daddy, would you like to run a marathon with me?".
The father says "yes".
And they run their first marathon together.
Another time, the son asks his dad again "Daddy, would you like to run a marathon with me?". The father says "yes son".
One day, the son asks his father " Daddy, would you run the Ironman with me?"
The Ironman is the most difficult triathlon ever (4 kms swimming, 180 kms bikin, 42 km running.)
And the dad says "yes".
The story looks simple until you watch the following clip.
Just amazing, how much can love be.... ?

Freshman Camp
On 28th February - 1st March 2009,
our platoon had organised a 2 days 1 night freshman camp.
There were 70 members attended this camp.
In this camp,
we played some games about the BB knowledge, treasure hunt and also station games.
Besides, we had watched Pesta and 50 anniversary video.
There were a small concert and camp fire during the night.
The next day, after morning exercise we played Frisbee together.
We gave a small souvenir which is a Platoon B name card with calendar to all the members.
This camp ended at 12.00pm.
This was the first time we organised freshman camp.
It was quite successful.
I think all of us enjoyed in this camp
and hope that the next year freshman camp will be better.

* Because of some reason, the programme photo was lost.
I am very sorry about it.

Freshman Camp 2009
Platoon B of the 1st Johor Bahru Company is organizing a Freshman Camp in conjunction with the recruitment drive in 2009. The main purpose of the camp is to allow new recruits/students to mix with members of the BB and to familiarize with the new school environment.
